Curry Night/Eyam Comedy Night/Sue's Hathersage loop with stepping stones/Webbo Wanderers Christmas Party

Thursday/Friday 7th/8th December 2023

Hosted by The Photographer and The Sensible One - A very busy two days starting with fantastic hospitality/curry at Bev and Sues and then onto the Comedy Night in Eyam . The following day a nice loop around the outskirts of Hathersage followed by a fabulous Christmas lunch at The Plough for the Webbo's Wanderers Christmas Party and Secret Santa. As always; fun, frivolity and childish behaviour across the two days.

Edale Loop with Jacobs Ladder (optional to extend by a further 2 miles if you dont want to maim or kill your self doing Grindsbrook Clough)

Hosted by The Secretary- Described as hell/extreme mountaineering by one of our members and definitely the hardest and most challenging walk to date. Any body attempting to do this I would highly recommend you make sure the weather conditions are appropriate and you consider the safety of your fellow walkers. A very physical and demanding walk that is 7.7 miles but with the detour becomes nearer 10 miles. Not for the feint hearted. Accident book updated - 5 minor injuries/falls and no fatalities.

Matlock Giddy Edge

Hosted by The Secretary- A physically demanding and energetic 5.5 mile walk around Matlock. Taking in stunning views around High Tor and the Heights of Abraham. Option to do the scariest footpath in the UK which is Giddy Edge.
